Not red, but orange colored. Licorice aroma and flavor. Rather alcoholic. Sweetish with just a bit of malt. Unremarkable beer.

From the bottle. Murky auburn color with a tall frothy head that gently subsides. Aroma has a strong note of cherry pop at the outset, though this fades drastically. Taste is bittersweet, full of bread and cherry cough drop. Warming. A bit medicinal. Body is medium. Moderate carbonation. Okay.

Bottle 33 cl. Amber color. Aroma: fruit, toffee, malt, noble hops. Taste: malty, a bit fruity, caramel, wine, light hop bitterness, slightly unbalanced, a bit of pepper.

A colleague was told that I'm into beer and then said, "I was clearing out my parents house and I've got a load of Belgian beer in my car. You can have it." Turned out it was a load of our of date London Pride and Ringwood beers, plus this one Belgian. BB 01/2006. Vinous and vinegar aroma. Dark amber. Slightly opaque. A scant few white bubbles. Low key bitter sweet. Booze sourness in the finish. Marzipan and apple vinegar. Light bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long finish. Last had this beer a few years ago and I remember it being quite strong tasting. But this is all quite tones down. It's OK.
