See-through, classic gold, whisper of lace.
Earthy, strong band-aid, dense papaya, sharp plum, a little plastic.
Muscadine, astringent white tea, bitter veg, grass, leathery meat, pithy apple skin. apple cores & funky hay.
Juicy, plastic, astringent, off-dry to dry, strong sulfites, nasty plastic, stiff for 10% Despite the contrary, this is way better than current reviews indicate.
Frothy, thick, heavy, fruity, carb dies off really fast, obviously boozy.

Nice specimen. Very hearty & difficult to finish.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a copper orange and white bubble head. Aroma is apples, tannins, green. Taste is acidic, bitter, apples, tannins, little leather.

Sample thanks to Grumbo! Misted golden orange appearance. Rich caramelised butterscotch aroma, continuing to taste. Verges on boozy, some varnish, woody hints with an appealing sweetness. Good overall.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of apple, woody. Taste is apple, tart, woody, oak, some solventy funk and vanilla, lactic notes, with a biscuity hint. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry finish. OK.

26/10/2020. Sample courtesy of saxo and co, cheers. Pours slightly hazy orange gold with minimal head. Aroma of apple pie, caramel, touch of spice and vanilla. Moderate sweetness and tartness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Sweet and sour finish. Quite nice.

[ As Alai Cahuín ].
ABV: 10.0%. Clear light medium yellow colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate apple, oak, cedar barrel, dry apples, apple - quince (kvæde). Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, apple, cedar wood, oak, barrel, dry apples, apple - quince (kvæde), medium dry, light funky. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20201003]

Dark yellow colour. Light nice apple aroma. Moderate apple flavor. and very woody. Average long finish. Creamy palate. Strange but nice.
