500 ml Bottle. Pours with a clear, brown Color and a small off-white head. Nose is lightly roasted malts, dried apricots and something I can't discribe. Taste is sweet malty, dried fruits, slightly hoppy. dry and herbal finish.

Bottel. Color: Clear ruby, beige head. Taste: Roasted malt, some spices, hints of caramel and lightly hints of chocolate in the finish. Medium to light body and carbonation. Little bitterness.

pours an almost clear dark chestnut with a steady beige head and a nice lacing. aroma of an export beer: grass, grains, some sulphur. flavour is slightly caramelly, grainy, with some nuts and plums. slightly bitter, long prickly fruity finish. interesting.

Helder donkerrood bier met schuim. Smaak is hoppig bitter en licht zoet met sporen van caramel. Gewoon een erg goed bier ook voor de niet winter periode.

Heavy standard Altenmünster 0,5 l bottle. A dark red brown in the glass, big beige head. Low malt on the nose. Starts with a decent sour malty bitterness. Roasted grain and malt, earthy. Not really quaffable.

* Old rating, 0,5l bottle, best before 20.06.04. Dunkles, süßliches karamelliges Bier. Leicht herb, dabei malzig-süßlich. Wärmend, noch nicht alkoholisch. Nett.
