On tap at the brewpub. Thick white head with discolouring. Hazy amber pour. This was on the menu but wasn’t on tap. I was chatting to the brewer and he asked his boss if it was possible to have this made specially for me. The brewer wouldn’t tell me the secrets of this beer but due to the reinheidsgebot he can’t add anything like coffee during the brewing. He can add coffee to a beer on tap afterwards so I suspect this is the Marzen with coffee added. Interesting brew. Thanks!
