Elsie Mo’s name is derived from the Low Colour Maris Otter malt from which it is exclusively brewed, and which gives the beer its lovely golden hue. A blend of First Gold, Aurora and Bobek hops give the beer its delicate citrus aroma and floral taste.

Bottle 0,50ltr: Golden coloured brew with an fully wheat-beer taste and some slightly hints of banana. And it got an good bitter finish with an slightly fruity flavors. Quite good beer with WWII-bomber theme.

Creamy white head on slowly carbonating golden coloured body. Sweet, stone fruit & biscuit aroma. Medium bodied, soft & creamy with a short dry back. Sweet malt, stone fruit, cigarette & grain tastes with lightly hopped citrus finish. Lovely Quaffer.

Bottle from Morrisons. Pours an almost clear golden colour with a medium sized throthy white head. Aromas of bread, biscuits and a touch of honey. Taste is bready, biscuity, a little spicy and fruity. Fairly lively mouthfeel with an earthy hop on the finish. Medium to full body. Not bad

500ml bottle. My 50th gold ale rating. Dark gold towards light amber, small white head, little retention. Aroma of malts, floral and fruity hops. Taste is malts, and then a sweet fruity resin, a little zest, raisin, a nice long bitterness. A nice smooth moderate body and mouthfeel. I enjoyed this, it packs some good flavours and has a nice level of bitterness. Hops: Challenger, Bobek and Aurora

Bottle. Pours a clear amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of fudge, leather, sweet biscuits, grass and wood. The flavour is more grassy with leather, hops and hay in the aftertaste. A little dry. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and balanced bitterness. A decent and well-balanced golden ale.

500ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Harstad. An airy white head to a bright golden body. Laces well. Smooth fruit hoppy nose. Smooth taste as well of herbal hops, bread and mild leafy bitterness to the finish. Well balanced. Drinks very well with the TV football (at home watching UEFA Euro 2016, Tromsø 17.06.2016).
