The beer is made from a blend of East Anglian malted barley, Boadicea and First Gold hops and high grade malted wheat which is then filtered to allow the aromas and flavours within the beer to remain. Spindrift is top-fermented and it should be served chilled with a thick, continental-style head. (Contains barley & wheat).

Fra flaske (kjøpt på Gml. Strand Øllager) en dejlig forårsdag i parken, mai-13: Lite aroma, smak av gressaktige humler, nokså tørr og egentlig intetsigende. Bare fargen på flaske burde være advarsel nok.

Dark golden colour. Aroma is sweet and fruity. Flavour has some mild malty flavour in the background. A touch of fruity hop comes in the finish. Low carbonation. A bit syrupy.

330ml bottle. Clear golden amber colour, foam white head tthat diminishes and aroma of malt, grain & yeast. Caramel malt taste with some slight biscuit, citrus lemon & yeasty notes and a light dry bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, OK.

A lively, clear gold beer with a thin frothy head. Hoppy, bitter citrus aroma. Taste is quite light. There’s an initial lemony flavour on the tongue and then a hoppy backtaste. Not the tastiest beer but there’s something about it, added to the fact that it’s light and refreshing and it’s very drinkable.

Aroma: Pear and white pepper.

Appearance: Crystal clear golden body (you could read a newspaper through this) with a thin white head that slowly fades to nothing. Very light carbonation. No lacing.

Taste: Corn and biscuit. Yeasty with hints of white pepper and banana.

Palate: Medium body with a slightly oily texture. Average carbonation.

Overall: Not particularly exciting. First beer I’ve ever had out of a bright blue bottle...

Keg at the Castle Inn, Cambridge. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a firm, pure white head. Pleasant citrusy aroma, tons of mango, light piss. Light to medium sweet flavor with juicy mango and papaya, some grapefruit. Light bodied with average carbonation. Light sweet finish with rich apricot, mango, tangerines. Pretty tasty stuff overall, even if the character is a bit light.
