I didn't buy this just because of the name. But mostly. Nah, it's a hybrid blending 33% actual Rosé from a German winery, with a rye and barley ale base aged on raspberries. Very interesting, quite complex, more cool than satisfying, but still. Good.

Fruchtiger Beginn, viel Himbeere, etwas Traube, milde Säure. Spritzig, feinherb, rund und süffig. Geringfügig ansteigende Säure, Weinnoten, weich. Mittellanger Abgang. 10/11/12/10/12/10

11-10-20 // 330ml bottle. 33% rosé wine and 10% raspberrypüree for this beer wine hybrid and this resembles in aroma. Clear rosé colored. No head. Just some initial bubbles. Dry raspberry in the nose, light wineous. Very soft fizzy mouthfeel. Rosé wine and subtle raspberry. Dry ta nnins in the finish. The Berliner Weisse base influence is marginal. More wine than beer.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierothek', bottled in June 2020. A little hazy, deep red with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sourish, very citric, quite fruity and slightly vinous aroma of redcurrant, lots of lemon, some red grapes and a touch of elderberry. Gently sour, rather fruity, slightly vinous tasze of red grapes, redcurrant, elderberry and lemon, followed by a short, slightly tart, gently vinous finish. Thin to medium body, slightly astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Really well-balanced grape ale, fortunately not as sour as the smell suggests, although the Berliner Weisse is still very present. Pleasant, fairly refreshing brew, would be great with some brett.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, ruby colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish and tart-ish, fruity and floral aroma, notes of raspberry, a touch of hibiscus, rose hip. Taste is sweet-ish and tart-ish, vinous fruity, slightly floral, notes of raspberry, a touch of hibiscus, rose hip, a touch of grapes, grapesugar. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, minimally prickly carbonation. Nice composition.
