Golden Angel is patiently and painstakingly aged in 500L puncheons with 1 pound per gallon of fresh, whole apricots. After maturation in these neutral oak vessels, this sour is re-fermented on an additional 4 pounds per gallon of apricots to impart a rustic stone fruit character. A total of 5 pounds per gallon of fruit renders Golden Angel the absolute essence of apricot in a glass. Bottle thanks to Rainer. Pours a cloudy gold with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong apricot, oak, light funk. Thin mouth, tart, nice apricot, oak, really impressed with how far their sours have come, keep it up!

4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey for the Wicked Weed DC Debut event. Poured a hazy golden color with a small off-white head. Light tart notes, some mild stonefruit (apricots). Light tartness on the finish. Subtle.

Not quite as good as red angel. Some bretta, light florals. Hazy golden pour. Slight tangy finish. Ok, but nothing amazing. Tap at Churchkey.

Draft. Cloudy golden orange color. Nice aroma of overripe apricot. Taste is fairly deeply sour stone fruit, light black pepper. Delicious.
