A top quality blonde beer made using only Marris Otter pale malt to give a light and refreshing clean taste. Moderately hopped with Challenger and delicate New Zealand Hallertau hops. This is the perfect easy drinking beer for hot summer days!

Cask at Reading BF. Gold in hue, as you’d expect. Light lemon with a little caramel and a mildly crisp finish. Your archetypal middle of the road UK golden ale, and there’s nothing wrong with that on occasion.

Bottle at Langley Castle. It pours clear golden yellow with a small white head. The nose is clean, doughy, honey, leaf and a touch of metal. The taste is clean, crisp, citrus, mild bitterness, dough, honey and grass with a crisp, dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Good clean, crisp golden ale. Decent.

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy aroma, hoppy overtones with a fruity touch of pale berries. Taste is grainy and minimally strawy, minimally chalky, cautious fruity hints of pale berries; dry, strawy and chalky finish, light body.
