Bottle. Brown color. Firewod, juniper and various spices in the intense aroma and flavor. An abundance of spices makes the beer totally out of balance and undrinkable. Drain pour!

33cl from the brewery. Too much head, almost a gusher. Clear amber pour. Too weak for a barley wine. Coriander in the aftertaste

Draught at Pint Winterbierfestival Gouda 2011. Actually one of the few Kasparus beers that are decent. Dark brown color with some red in it, light brown head. Smell fruit, spices and some sour hints. Taste malts, fruits, sweet. Nice carbo, medium body.

Dark amber/brown color; the head disappears quickly. Deep malt aroma, spreading in the whole room, typical of barley wines; fruity.
Less sweet than other barley wines of the same strength (actually, it's almost unique its balance of swetness and dryness), not the perfect score just because too much mono-dimensional: soft caramel.
The hop used is the minimum necessary for such beer; some more would be an improvement.
Easier to drink than other similar ones, but not persistent flavors.
