A reddish purple ale with a thin rosey head. In aroma, loads of berries, blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, light lactic notes, light cereals, pleasant. In mouth, a nice tart mix of berries, raspberry, blackberry, Epsom salts, very nice. On tap at L'autre oeil.

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours completely opaque murky pinkish red with a small think pink-white head that's quite stable. Aroma and flavour are definitely berry-led but not overwhelmingly powerful, with raspberry the most dominant, some earthy/tannic blackberry and cassis deeper notes, some soft lactic acidity, maybe a little of the strawberry tart bite but only if you're looking, very subtle lactose but overall balance is very lightly acidic, quite clean. Smooth light to medium body with a slight creaminess from low carb but not really smoothie-like in the overfruited sense. I like this but I felt like it was a bit overhyped and didn't quite live up to my expectations for fruit level.
