On tap @ PINT Bokbier Festival 2012 (the 2012 issue of course). Brown color, cloudy. Firm head, off white to beige. Aroma’s: Grain, malt, retronasal also some sweetness, drop/laurel. Flavor is medium sweet, roasted. Medium body. Finishes roasted and medium bitter. Solid bock.

cloudy brown, small offwhite head. aroma is sort of spicy, roasted malty, slightly syruppy, flavor is bitter malty, roasted malty, dark fruity notes. quite roasted.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy opaque orangey brown with a dense and creamy lacing beige head. Smooth caramel aroma. Good solid body, very smooth mouthfeel, caramel and toffee with some subtle roast. A little discreet roasty finish with subdued hops. Straight and well made. 290212

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is mild fruity, vague phenolic and caramelish. Toasted malty. Thick malty, light liqourice and sweet caramelish. Light toasted breadish and liqourice smooth finish.

Bottled. A dark red beer with a huge tan head. The aroma has notes of bread, malt, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, bread, and alcohol, leading to a bready finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
