Tap. Hazy brown color with beige head. Aroma is berries, caramel, toffee. Taste is the same, a bit sirupy. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. A bit too sweet for me.

(Draught at Muted Horn, Berlin, 26 Aug 2017) Dark red colour with creamy, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, red fruit and toast. Malty taste with notes of caramel, toffee, some chocolate, toast, red fruit and a gentle spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite enjoyable.

SWING-TOP 33 CL from brewpub. Hazy amber, beige head. Appears to have caramel malts with fruity notes, bread and thick yet easy-drinking body. Unfortunately it is also a bit sour, even though it theft the brewpub just a month ago. Must have been good.

Deep amber-copper colored, strong beige over foaming head. Aroma is malty, caramel and toasted malt, bread and a touch of mold. Taste is malt caramel and Munich malt, toasted bread, bit moldy, bready finish and aftertaste, low herbal bitterness. Light+ bodied, soft carbonation, watery.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a hazy pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with weak yeasty hints. Fruity malty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.

Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 3A). Draft @ Hausbrauerei Altstadthof. AROMA: sweet malt aroma with some fruity notes. no hop aromas. some straw notes present. APPEARANCE: reddish amber color and clear. creamy white head with good retention. TASTE: sweet malt flavour with some faint notes of caramel and roasted cereal. some straw flavour. medium bitterness that lingers into a semi-sweet finish. PALATE: medium-low body with some creaminess. medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: altough not very much complex on the aromas and flavours, still a decent RotBier.

On tap at the brewpub. Beer in the glass brownish, nice head. Roasty-malty aroma. Starts mild malty, modest roasty, some smokey notes. Also light nutty. Finish well balanced, soft-malty, quite drinkabkle. Not bad!
