On tap at the brewpub. Beer in the glass brownish, nice head. Roasty-malty aroma. Starts mild malty, modest roasty, some smokey notes. Also light nutty. Finish well balanced, soft-malty, quite drinkabkle. Not bad!

Bottled, from the brewpub. Hazy copper colour, brief head. Distinct roasty aroma. Mid dryvwith medium bodied and rounded mouthfeel. Roasty with raisins and floral notes. Rose pepper, notes of caramel. Low bitterness.

Vom Faß im Altstadthof, Nürnberg. - Schönes Kupferrot. Antrunk leicht malzig (Röstmalz), voll milder unfiltrierter Kellerbieraromen. Anklänge von Waldbeeren (Brombeere). Milder Hopfen; dezenter bitterer Nachtrunk. - Mild, weich und süffig. Könnte eine deutliche Portion mehr Hopfen vertragen. Auch in Literflaschen zum Mitnehmen erhältlich, leider stark überteuert.

On tap. Reddish dark orange body, beige head. Aroma of cherry, peach, floral hops and caramel. Taste is like the aroma. Lots of cherry and caramel with some peach, caramel and toast. Malty but the finish is slightly bitter. Medium body, very easy to drink. Really nice beer.

Draught at the brewpub. This poured a lovely, superb misty amber-red body, with an off white-tan head. The nose is immediately a small letdown though. Soft & malty, with very light notes of hard candy. The taste is unfortunately as I expected it after that... empty. Somewhat sweet, soft. with very light soapy/herbal notes. Ordinary.
