Duft av honning. Dyp mørk honningfarge. Lite skum, litt langs kant. Frisk smak med en anelse smak av honning.

500ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours hazy amber with good white head. Sweet creamy toffee malt aroma, more of the same on the taste. Won’t set the world alight, but a solid, malty, beverage.

Hazy, light brown colour. Quite low carbonation. Quite a yeasty, zingy taste with light bitterness in the finish.

Swing-top bottle, 0,50l. Murky pale brown color with large creamy tan-like head. Aroma of grassy hops, toasted malt, maybe with light roast, yeast, hay and some fruits. Taste starts fresh and sour yeasty, followed by mild roast and coffee. Mouthfeel is dry and spicy with medium bitterness in the aftertaste. Medium to full body, slick texture and soft carbonation in palate. I liked it a lot, very tasty and not so common German beer...

Flavor is kind of nutty, some wood, burnt toast. Aroma is faint, seems kind of sour, musty. Color is dark amber with thin, oily head, lots of lacing. Not the best keller I’ve tried....

Swing-top bottle. Fruity, bready/grainy malt aroma. Cloudy amber with a small off-white head. Beady malt, spicy, yeasty flavor. Medium body and carbonation. The beer version of a nice hearty crusty bread... comfort beer.

Bottle from Appalachian Wines, Edinburgh 161112
Golden amber sort of toffee caramel colour, very hazy, big frothy head
Aroma - Fruity caramel malts, malt extract, fruity yeast
Taste - caramel malts, soft orange zest, yeasty, some bitter hops, hint of honey, it’s quite complex in a very subtle way
Palate - Medium carb and body. Finish as main flavour, getting that hint of orange zest again and soft bitter hops, slight wholemeal notes
Overall - Well made Keller with a good very subtle flavour
