Cask at the Cornfield Garage, Eastbourne. Poured a clear golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is malt, light toffee. The flavour is light bitter, with a smooth, somewhat light, malt, toffee caramel, yeasty, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Pours a bit cloudy blonde, small white head (cask ale, so to be expected). Scent is very mild, pale malts, not much hops. Taste is full, low hoppyness (earthy, floral) Mild bitter back. Crisp. Very malty finish.

Cask at Queens Arms, Basingstoke. Aroma has light malts and caramel... or that's the pub. Clear dark gold. Thin foamy white head. Light-medium bitter. Woody. Herbal and spicy streak. Underlying sweet dough. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Nice enough gold.

Bottle. Golden blonde. Hints of caramel, malt and salt in the aroma and flavor. I can smell and taste the Maris Otter. Soft herbal notes. Toffee and chloride in the aftertaste. Sticky mouthfeel. Not impressed.

Cask at the Calthorpe Arms, Clerkenwell on 17th May 2019. Amber with shallow off-white foam and initial lacing. Strongly malty aroma with citrus. A tangy and floral blend in-mouth, followed by a grassy finish that becomes intensely bitter on the upper rear mouth. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.
