Pours a hazy dark brown with a small creamy head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, slight touch of coffee. Acidy fruity with almost no carbonation. Decent but mediocre.

Bottle shared. Hazy dark amber with big beige head. Strawberries, straw, earthy malts, light caramel, strawberry ice cream, earthy dry wood, cardboard, soft herbs. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with watery finish. OK at best.

Shared from bottle at home courtesy of Maakun. Unclear pale brown with white head. Sweet malts, brown malt, old strawberry syrup, soft sweet and bit sickly and dusty dull. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Bottle. Caramel and coffee in the aroma. Caramelly sweet flavor with coffee and speculaas. Very low on carbon.

Bottle [from trade with bierkoning, thanks!] @ home. Hazy reddish amber color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, lightly caramel, caramel malts,, a bit sweet, a light bitter hint in the distance, slightly raisins in the distance. Medium body and carbonation. Solid.

Bottle 300ml. [ As Hettingabier Zwolse Bok ].Unclear dark dark red brown colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, caramelized, dusty chocolate - roasted, light to moderate hoppy, leather notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, malt bitter, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120317]

Bottle @ FOneFan as Zwolse Bok. Very dark brown/red with medium beige head. Aroma is light roasted malts, chocolate, little coffee and caramel. Flavour is light roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, little acid, caramel and medium sweet.
