The final can in my trilogy of disappointment following my trip to a Copenhagen 7 11. Don't judge me, I needed food and beer. Anyway, a weird metallic taste to this one and really not good at all. The evening was saved because the hotel has a night cap happy hour commencing at 10pm so I rounded things off with a very agreeable scotch and a Calvados. I had forgotten how good a Calvados could be - like the essence of baked apples.

Can on holiday, camping out in Denmark. Finally got the tent up and everything ready for bed. Time for a beer at last. Clear golden color, white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, hayish, bitter. Lingering bitterness. Don't get anything else but I was thirsty so it was good enough.

1 l can. Clear golden colour, thin white head. Nose is sweet grains and corn. Taste is the same, poor and unpleasant. Thin, watery mouthfeel, average carbo. Usual macro lager.

[as Ceres Top Royal] Lattina. Territorio olfattivo dominato dall'orzo. La finezza olfattiva è un timido profumo e la maniera in cui permane è corta. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è snello. L'amaro è poco incisivo. La forza gustativa è normale e la persistenza è appena percepibile. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, cereali, pane cotto di recente ed erbaceo.

Can at home. Aroma is sweetish corn and stuffy malt. Flavour is above moderate malty sugary sweet and only slightly bitter. Body is medium. Very dull aroma and way too sweet.

A clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma of dry and semi strong pale malt, hay. Taste of dry grainy malt, straw, honey, dull hops.
