Fuller's Bengal Lancer is a traditional India Pale Ale. It is brewed using the finest English malt and Goldings hops to evoke memories of the first versions of this pale amber, distinctively hoppy and superbly refreshing style of beer.

Clear golden with a medium off white head. Hoppy nose with toasted malt, pine and hints of fruit. Slightly hoppy flavor with malt, caramel and fruity notes. Finished dry and bitter.

clear light orange, smooth white head. faint but delicate aroma, faint hoppy. flavor is quite bitter , not from hops but seemingly from wood or spices,at least it tastes that way. interesting beer

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Some sweet exotic fruits in the nose. Somewhat light body, very soft mouthfeel, nice fruity accents with a dry and hoppy finish. Pleasant and quaffable. 171110

500ml bottle conditioned bought at Waitrose Bloomsbury in London. Clear amber body under a lasting, frothy white head. Spotty lacing. Fruit hoppy aroma. Rounded taste of dry hopped fruits featuring bready malts. Softened bittersweet ending. Medium to light bodied. Shared with Finn and Leif at a rating session in Tromsø, 27.10.2010.

bottle from Waitrose Sidmouth (08/2010). Amber-golden colour, small bubbly head. Aroma of citusy hops, fruity. Full-bodied, solid malty base, intensive hop flavours, citrusy, resiny and spicy. Fruity character. Dry and very hoppy lingering finish.
