Druck på flaska i Greatham vintern-10. En av de mer lyckade engelska IPor. Bra balans mellan maltsötma och humle av citruskaraktär. Blommig, fruktig och riktigt lyckad.

(bottle conditioned) Hazy, golden colour with a mid-sized slightly off-white foamy head. Citrus-fruity and slightly piney hoppy aroma on a mildly (cara-)malty background. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a calm carbonation. Soft (cara-)malty and slightly nutty base with mainly fruity and slightly piney hops; dry-ish and moderately bitter finish with an almost lingering hops character. Pleasant and well-crafted. 19.IX.10

Average head, average hazelnut colour. Speaking of hazelnuts, has that tangy nutty-spice-alcohol aroma of any IPA, nothing outstanding or different worth mentioning. Taste is sour and nutty, some bread, oak. Nice complex flavour in fact. Good dry finish. A better IPA.

Re-added, original rating disappeared from RB! Clear amber color, small white head. Fruity-nutty aroma, quite typical cask bitter nose. Light to medium bodied. A bit fruity-nutty backbone. Sweetish maltyness, hoppy bitterness in the finish. Solid but boring.

Bottled (BB 02/2011), 5.3% Copper brown color, small off-white head. Woody hoppy aroma, slightly nutty, some citrus. Sticky bitterness in front, then a bit sweeter in the middle. Citrus, pine, fruit sugar in the flavor. Some resiny notes. Bitterish woody finish. Fullers house flavors. Decent.

Bottle at home ... Thanks to Fin ... amber ... bubbly white head ... sweet juicy pine hop ... little soapy ... loads of lime peel ... little over fizzy ... juicy lime hop ... little too bitter for me ... bit to floral and waxy ... but certainly rich and flaversome.

Cask at Christian Firtal, Odense. Hazy amber with a small white head. Grassy hop aroma with a touch of citrus - the usual Fullers marmalade is there, but in the background. Dry and grassy hoppy flavour, with fruity notes. Quite bitter. Wooden hop notes in the finish.

50 cL, bottle conditioned version. Pours a clear and golden orange with a huge white head. Aroma is citrusy and light malty. Citric and crisp bitter flavoured. Nice tangerine and peachy notes to main and the rather citric hops flavoured brew. Bitter and crisp finish.
