Faint bitter hops on the nose, with a touch of malt sweetness but not overly aromatic - pours a deep gold with a short lasting, small white head - old school English IPA with floral hops and some bitterness on a biscuit backbone, with a hint of fruit on the tongue and a slightly bitter aftertaste

Rocky white head left a blotchy cover on an unclear dark amber coloured still body. Confectionery & pale malt aroma. Medium bodied, creamy in the front with a lighter sharp clean back. Sweet berries, banana & confectionery tastes with a tangy grapefruit finish. Great version of the style.

Cask at The Vansittart Arms. Medium amber with small creamy head. Light malty aroma gets much fuller (no pun intended) in the taste. Caramel, brown bread. Light sweet notes.

500ml bottle. As Fuller's India Pale Ale (Bottle Conditioned 5.3%) Pours a hazy gold-orange with a medium, creamy, long lasting, off-white head that laces nicely. Mild, sweet aroma of caramel malt, biscuit, floral and orange. Sweet flavour of biscuit malt, caramel, orange, peach and light pine needles with a dry, bitter, spicy hop finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Not too shabby.
