Fuller's Bengal Lancer is a traditional India Pale Ale. It is brewed using the finest English malt and Goldings hops to evoke memories of the first versions of this pale amber, distinctively hoppy and superbly refreshing style of beer.

JAN-2015. BOTTLE 50 CL as ”Fuller’s India Pale Ale” (Bottle Conditioned) at 5,3%. The aroma is sweet fruit/marmalade and light zesty hops. The flavour is also fruity sweetness and hops, with medicinal notes and aspirin-like bitter finish. Not bad. 3,3/5.

Pours a fairly clear amber color, topped with an average white head. Fruity and caramel aroma, mild altogether. Moderately bitter taste, some hoppiness also in the aftertaste. A bit more bitter but still nice.

Schöner stabiler Schaum im IPA-Glas, schwaches Aroma, kaum Frucht. Im Abgang sehr bitter, leichter Tabak. Zu wenig fruchtig für meinen Geschmack.

Growler from Moondog Growlers in Sandy Springs. Pours dark copper, with a small, bubbly, tan head. Caramel, cloves, straw, floral hops, and molasses. Sweet and syrupy, with a mellow hoppy bitterness. Medium body, thick, and chalky. More ESB than IPA, but a solid, malty beer, with a mellow hoppiness.
