Served in 0,4 glass from 0,5 bottle (somewhat strangely but according to menu) with Snegurochka after taking in the Nutcracker at the Latvian National Opera. Pours an unclear light apricot body with a decent creamy white head. Strong aroma of banana, apricot, sweet wheat and citrus. Notes of pleasant yeast and some spices. Unsurprising but at the same time enticing. Mouthfeel is sliky smooth but still quite full-bodied. Flavour is very much akin to aroma and quite long-lasting. A very well crafted brew that is quite spectacular in its solidity and thoroughly enjoyable. Recommended!

Aromas intensos a pan, frutas y cereal. En boca, sus sabores inundan el paladar. Tiene todos los sabores de una weizen clásica pero amplificado. Notas a plátano, trigo y un toque especiado.

Als Abschluss von einem lustigen bierigen Abend und zum Jubiläum des 1000.verkosteten Biers meines Verkostungskumpels Michi kam dieser Weizenbock von der altehrwürdigen Brauerei ins Glas. Es ist ein heller Weizenbock, wie man ihn sich wünscht. Intensiv, aber nicht überladen und dazu ein voller Strauß fruchtiger und getreidiger Aromen nach Trockenobst, Kirsche, Hefe und Toast verknüpft mit einer erdigen Urigkeit, die voll zu einem klassischen bayrischen Weizenbock passt.

Trübe bräunlich gelbe Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hefiger, fruchtiger, malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich hefig, fruchtig nach reifer Banane und Nelken, malzig. Hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, voller Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a hazy dark gold with a full two fingers of soapy white head that lingers. Lots of wheat, banana and clove on the nose. Smooth on the palate with nice carbonation underneath that leads to another drink. Finishes with lingering banana cream pie note alongside dry peppery notes.
