Inte rund och krämig utan snarare en stram och relativt tuff stout. Syrlig, rostad, bränd, kaffe rejäl beska för att vara en stout. Åt imperial stout hållet men bara 4,5%. Stabillt

(bottle) Black as coal coloured hue with a beige and persistent foamy head of medium size. Strong roast-malty aroma with caramel, liquorice, coffee and a slightly woody hoppy note. Light-bitter flavour, quite slim bodied with a soft carbonation. Roast-malty taste with primary notes of liquorice and coffee; moderately dry roasty, slightly bitter and woody hoppy finish. 29.XII.08

1/2 l bottle from fish & beer, cph. Enjoyed in Alcudia, Mallorca. (yes, I bring homework with me on vacation). clear dark brown, smooth huge light brown head. very nice very roasted aroma, licorice, roasted malts. a bit one dimensional perhaps, but definetly roasted in a very nice way. flavor is dry, yet sweet roasted malts, some hoppy balance, but the roasted malts win the battle. One of these low alc english beers where you still have lots and lots of flavor. more flavorfull than guinness, but less balanced.
