Bottled@CPH BF 2013. Deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is wood, some mild alcohol, mild matyness and grainy as well as some toffee. Flavour is fruity, wooden, floral and a bit grassy notes in the finish as well. Toffee and grass in the aftertaste. Pleasantly balanced.

Bottle from Salling, Aarhus. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light hoppy - grass. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet finish with warming alcohol. 280513

getrunken vor einigen Jahren noch in einer NORM-Flasche unter dem Namen Rytírský 21%. Eigentlich ein recht gutes, volles Bier, das es aber etwas zu gut meint. Der malzige Körper wirkt überladen und liegt schwer im Glas. Etwas für Leute, die wirklich schwere Böcke mit hoher Intensität, aber kaum Spritzigkeit mögen. Es hat seine Reize, aber mein Lieblingsbier wird es nicht mehr.

Bottle. Pours clear light amber with airy off-white head. Distinct aroma of hops with a boozy note in the ling nose. Sweetish, malty taste with bitter notes of hops and alcohol. Oily, sweetish finish. I’m not that fond of this beer style but this is one of the reasonable examples.

Bottle from random supermarket in Bratislava. Dark golden color with medium white head. Aroma of sweet malt. Sweet malty taste with caramel, strong alcoholic feeling in sweet finish. Too much on sweet side for me and lack of complexity, only sweetness and alcohol.

(Bottle, Pivovarsky Klub, Prague, 27 July 2011) Amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, orange peel and spicy hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange peel, tropical fruit, caramel and a slightly spicy bitterness in a warming finish with a certain sweetness and some warming alcohol. More than medium body, fairly sweet. Actually quite well balanced for its strength. Nice.
