Bottle thanks to BenH. Appearance - dark brown to black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - dark chocolate, coffee bean. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - closer to stout than ipa. A hopped stout.

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Clear dark brown with a lasting beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt, chocolate and light hoppy. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 220416

Bottle. Creamy off-white excellent fully lasting head. Dark red amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. nutty. Moderate bitter flavor. Average modeerate bitter finish. Oily palate. more chocolate than hops.

100 ml sample. Clear dark brown, beige head. Lots of hops, tropical fruit, some caramel and vanilla sweetness. Similar taste, with smooth dry bitter finish. Not much roasted malts here. Very nice. (backlog 17-JAN-2016).
