Typical English ale, characterised by the amber colour, delicate bitterness and the full malt body. Carefully selected hops lend the beer the aroma of resin, roses, grapefruit peel, and gooseberry traces. An intense, bitter opening gradually changes after sipping, and leaves behind a drier malt flavour with notes of caramel and dried fruit. The beer experience is completed by the dark amber to garnet colour and the fine silk foam.

0.5l bottle from pivoteka in budweis, bb 06.10.16. pours a cloudy amber with a small white head and no lacing. aroma of sweetish malts, grass, herbs, some noble hops. flavour of grass, caramel, oat biscuit, wood, apple peel. drinkable.

50cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. A bright amber pour with a billowing off-white head; grassy hop aroma; weak caramel malt taste with some grassy hops; and a malty finish. A reasonable impersonation of a cheap, bottled English ale.

Clear, deep golden colored, medium off white head. Aroma is of some malt and biscuit, fruity and some grassy notes. Taste is light+ sweet malt and biscuit, some fruity apple, light grassy bitterness, rather weak. Medium to light bodied, soft carbonation, watery. (bottle)

Tasting at Ljubljana Beer and Whiskey Festival 2015. Shared with Dinko, Mišo and Shotgun Fred! Clear golden, surprisingly firm white head. Malty aroma. Neutral taste with sweet background. Light, drinkable, sweet finish. Lots of compromise here.

500ml bottle. Crystal clear, faint reddish amber colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Cautious, mellow malty, minimally fruity hoppy aroma, hints of red berries. Taste is slightly dry, minimally bitter hoppy, fruity notes of red berries, a touch of cherry, minimally toasty and grainy, malty background; minimally watery. Very clean, a bit narrow and "un-unfolded".
