50 cl bottle from a friend. Wow. Nice beer. The back of the label says sweet stout/cream stout. Confusing but a great beer

Warning! Early amateur rating! Bottle in Riga. Fully flavoured dark beer but not too bitter. Slight smoke in the undertone. Long dry finish with some fruit coming through. Different. Decent.

Bottle. (thanks to SaintMatty) Very dark but not completely black. Nice tan head. Roasted malt, bread, some coffee in the sweet aroma. The taste was sweet, in my opinion a bit too sweet. Also some notes of alcohol. Otherwise quite ok, although I do not feel the need to drink the beer again.

From a 500ml bottle on 21/7/2010. Has a strong aroma of coffee, caramel and brown sugar. In the mouth, this is a real sweet one, with caramel and dark chocolate notes predominating. However, the sweetness is kept in check by a moderate but reasonably long bitter finish. The carbonation is low, making it easy to drink. The sweetness might put some off, but this is an eminently drinkable, top notch porter.

500ml bottle shared at Baltic Beer Session 27. Oct. 2009. Clear black body, yellowish patchwork and fair lacing. Hints of red berries and liquorice to the nose. Flavour of unripe plums, bitter chocolate and liquorice. Sweet and dry finish. Thanks to Rune.

Bottle at Peculier Pub. Not bad. Pours a black-brown with a full, creamy tan head. Sweet aroma of dark malts and caramel. Flavor is quite sweet, with more caramel notes and very faint hints of chocolate and coffee. Light roast. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Finish is sweet and just barely roasty. A good Porter.

A deep dark porter with a thick creamy moka head. In aroma, pleasant plums and chocolate with warming alcohol, light signs of oxidation and metallic notes. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate with an oily mouthfeel, some licorice, a bit on the light side but pleasant. Bottle shared with probstk and Michael, Oct. 7 2009.
