Draught, medium stable bubbly head, clear copper to red color, frutiy aroma of plums and nectarine with some light caramel and light cakey maltiness, flavor of plums and cherries with some caramel behind and a just a hint of biscuity maltiness, fruity almost piercing sourness, light bitterness, long fruity aftertaste with a touch of hay. Good and very refreshing, nice twist on tradition,

Draught at Porter & Sons. Clear amber. Aroma of malt, honey, caramel and some berries. Sweet flavor with caramel candy, berries, a bit of honey, a tart hint and a drier finish, with a bitterish touch. Medium-bodied. Kinda OK, a bit too sweet.

*Old rating, best before 10/Dec/10. Fruity smooth dark Ale with lots of fruity Blackberries. Nice, smooth, fruity-malty Ale.

Pours a clear coppery color, topped with an average off-white head. Malty aroma with notes of caramel and some fruits. Sweet taste upfront, followed by some bitterness and caramel notes later on. Some bitterness also in the aftertaste. Not bad, pretty ncie actually.

From tap @ Brouwcafe. Not sure of the version, but it probably wasn’t in a cask so I’ll rate it here. Chestnut brown with reddish hue. Medium white head. Light roasted malts, honey, berries, some cherry. Medium sweet. Medium-light bodied with light carbonation.

Bready, yeasty aroma. Body is thin and watery. This has a yeasty, sharp edge. Some sweet, fruity blackberry can be found in the background.

brown 500ml bottle, best before 15 Jan 2012, poured into a UK pint sleeve in Sep 2011. Auburn body with a cream/off-white head of bubbles. The smell was of dark red berry pie, fruits and pastry combined to give a distinct and different aroma to your average beer. Tart in both ways, meaning sharp and fruity, the taste was the same, an alcoholic fruit tart. Really liked it, interesting, well blended and certainly unusual.

Aroma has sweetish butter, toffee and hints of hay. Flavour has toffee, some caramel and hay. Dryish and leathery palate. Decent.
