(bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a slightly tanned foamy head of medium size. Slightly sweet and toasty nutty malt-aroma with herbal hops and subtle notes of citrus and liquorice. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Toast-malty, nutty taste with light notes of caramel and a light herbal blend; moderately dry and bitter finish, staying nutty and slighty toasty with spicy herbal hops that are initially a bit metallic. All in all a well-quaffable dark Landbier.
