Blanche sure au citron, au poivre noir et à la citronnelle. Légère et rafraîchissante, elle évoque la limonade.

473 ml can, from Left Field Beer, England. ABV is 3.5%. Pale golden colour, large and lasting white head. Aroma of lemon and lemongrass, a hint of pepper. Thin mouthfeel. Medium sour flavour of lemon, also notes of black peppercorn.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: glossy yellow color with a one finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: lemon pulpy to rind-like scents with some white pepper, subtle floral and a touch of citrus zest
Flavor: somewhat tart to sweet with some sour tones coming about, then a mild aftertaste of some zesty citrus to subtle tart lemony character
Texture: light to medium bodied, clearly a sipper; some puckering tart clips the tongue as expected but nothing overly done; finishes crisp with the lemon tones
Overall: fairly nicely done sour ale, but pretty odd for a witbier, I think I could come back to preferably for me.

Clean, light golden-yellow colour with a white cap, average stay and a few lacing, foamy spots. Big lemony aromas with its sourness with maybe, hints of pepper. The taste shows a nice sour, not crazy puckering, flavours with a little zest, and the pepper just warming a tad in the finish. Like subtle white pepper, but it does build nicely. The sourness as well seems to build with time. Not a bad peppered lemonade that is quite good for such a low alcohol content.

Dullish hazy pale, with a thin head. Aroma is mostly lemonade. This one says blanche sure, and it is that, fairly lactic, quite lemony, and the wheat beer element understated. Not sure I'm getting the pepper in this at all.

4/27/23 canning, drunk 6/8/23. Lightly hazy, lemon brass. White head to ring instantly. Lemon is strong. Pepper is subdued. Man, that lemon is pretty dominant. No yeast, but nutty wheat and or oat. Clean, though who knows what's under the lemon. Nutty, chewy wheat and oat with 🍋ade and lemongrass flavors. Touch of pepper on the finish is a nice touch. It's a summer crusher but that lemon is really strong.

A lightly hazed blonde wit with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity lemony malt with light peppery character, light mineral, pleasant. In mouth, a nice mix of tart lemon, light tropical fruits, light black pepper, pleasant. On tap at DDC St Jérôme.

473ml can. Pours a hazy pale blonde with a small, creamy, short lived, white head that laces. Tart, fruity aroma of wheat malt, lemon and grassy hops. Sweet fruity flavour of wheat malt, lemon, floral, black pepper and grassy hops in a dry, tart finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Refreshing and thirst quenching. Great for summer.
