Bottle at the cafe in Hunawihr. Appearance - deep golden. Good head. Nose - lemon and toffee. Taste - more toffee, lemon and general cake notes. Palate - medium bodied at least. Could be fresher. Overall - more of a bock than an imperial pils in truth.

0.33l bottle from alsace. pours a clear pale amber with a medium white head and some lacing. aroma of belgian yeast, apples, grains, some alcohol. flavour of sweet apples, spices, alcohol. oily mouthfeel. too sweet.

Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, wet hay, and straw, leading to a bitter finish

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and slight herbal. Dry and bitter. Herbal dry finish. Sweet and slight bitter. Dry herbal. Dry and bitter finish.

Bottle. Clear amber with small white head. Caramel, toffee, some cardboard, light spices, dusty lemon candy, wood. Quite sweet with bad old and dusty bitter finish. Medium bodied. Not good. It also has added colorant and antioxidant. Classy stuff....

Dunkelgoldenes Bier mitt ordentlicher weißer Schaumkrone. Geruch nach reifen Äpfeln, süß, malzig, leicht alkoholisch. Geschmack sehr malzig, getreidig scharf, fruchtig, leicht alkoholisch.
