clear brown, smooth light brownb head. aroma:flowery alty slightly sourish caramel, roasted stuff. flavor is quite roasted, almost guiness like, hoppy balance, but the overall beer is on the dry side with a slight sweet note too. nice.

500 ml "Bügelflasche" (swingtop bottle), at Die Kleine Bierstube, Aarhus. ABV was 4.9%. Very dark ruby colour, nearly black. Big to moderate beige head. Moderate but nice aroma of brown bread and dark malts. The flavour is smooth and malty but not too sweet, with a very subtle roastiness. Low bitterness. Easy drinking.

bottle, bought to marinate the wild boar joint and try the rest. Clear darkish brown colour, large beige head. Watery, bitter with only the tiniest hints of caramel and bitter chocolate. No hints of malt. For my taste not even good to marinate the wild boar - used Lobkowicz dar beer instead.

Bottle 50cl. w. swing top.Clear dark red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, sea water notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20081016]

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a small orange glare at the rim. Medium crispy and tan head. Roasted and herbal spiced aroma. Flavour is bitter and spiced. Roasted acidic base flavour. Somewhat unrefined. Ends dry and bitter.

50 cl bottle. Pours black with a creamy brown & bubbly head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee & caramel. Some grain. Medium bodied. Light bitter roasted taste which is pleasant! Light sticky. OK!

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Aroma not as malty as exspected. The flavor is also not malty, very vapid, nearly washy. Not a good beer.
