Double hopped with 100% USA sourced Citra hops. Green Devil is the big brother of our best selling Oakham Citra and very much the beer (a big, high ABV contemporary IPA) that our Brewing Director John Bryan envisaged brewing when he first discovered the Citra hop variety back in 2009.

50cl bottle at Pudel, Tallinn. Pours clear deep golden to amber with a white head. Fairly happy and fruity aroma dominated by citrus with notes of tropical fruits, cat pee, pale malt, grass and caramel. Medium sweet with pleasant hoppy flavours and a nice bitterness. Medium+ body with quite average carbonation. Bitter aftertaste with citrusy notes. Decent IPA.

Bottle. Dark golden color with white head. Good hop aroma: delicious citrus, bird cherry, pine. Taste is very fruity and citrus, mild bitterness. Well-balanced and pleasant IPA.

Bottle from olliejobbins. Clear straw with small white head. Pine resin, pineapple, lemon rind, fruit candy, very bitter herbs. Light sweet going into strong bitter finish. Medium bodied. Very strong hops with very light malt base. Nice enough.

At Buskers pub in Rome-Italy, draught (only 4,5 euros). I have been desperately looking for this IPA for a couple of years, Rome warmly welcomes me back :-). Pours semi-filtered golden color with a never ending white tick head. Nose: fresh English green grass harvest (proper English hops), pine needles, hay. Mouth: extremely thirst quenching beer, round freshness, balanced but important bitterness. Sweet/sour apricot aftertaste. A well-made English IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, at Cardinal. An almost clear, golden beer topped by a dense, white head leaving some lacings. Cheesy aroma with pine cones, grass, resins and caramel maltyness. It’s lightly bitter on the palate, dry and medium to full-bodied, with a soft and pleasant carbonation level. Sort of cheesy flavor too, with caramel malts in the back, and piney, resiny and grassy hops up front. Lasting finish. A decent beer, but sort of boring. Guess it might suffer from age. 141101

Bottle, 500 ml from Pivoljub, Ljubljana. Pours unclear golden with white head. Citrus fruity aroma. Fruity and hoppy flavor, some pine and bitter finish. Nicely balanced.

Tap @ Basement Beer Bar, Aalborg. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Rich grassy hops, flowers, fruits and malt. Nice dry grassy finish.

Tried at Lincoln TapHouse and Kitchen. Colour is golden amber with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grass, a sweet fruitiness. The taste was light sweet, with an bitter finish.

Pours a clear golden color, a bit darker, topped with a very small white head. Very pleasant fruity aroma, I could pick up some lychee aroma, and some biscuity notes later on. Taste is bitter from the start, hoppiness in the finish and sadly some unpleasant metallic feel in the afterfinish. Still, not bad.
