Bottle from Cambridge Wine Merchants (Mill Road), drunk at home while watching Nightmare Neighbours Next Door. Stay classy, jjsint. Dark gold, not a lot of head or obvious carbonation. Scent of papaya, pineapple, resin. Out of this world taste: a meaty bitterness that grabs hold of you. Long bittersweet finish with a hint of umami. More papaya, mango, hint of ginger. I could do with a bit more carbonation, and I think I kept it that little bit too cold. Still very very good though.

Bottle. Pours hazy straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops and fruit, with notes of citrus and yeast. Sweetish, fruity and malty flavour with intense hoppy and citric notes. Lingering, bitter aftertaste with fruity touches. Well-balanced and nice.

500mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Nose brings out biscuity malt, some citrus hops, and a little pine -- but not really that dank, cat piss quality one usually gets from citra. Flavour is more characteristic of the hop, with dank citrus hops upfront, with a little pine and resin, and biscuity malt to back. Dry, crisp and really well-balanced, with a little citrus tang on the finish. Excellent IPA.

500ml bottle. Clear, very orangey, golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Hoppy aroma delivers the whole range of citrusy flavours, lemon, mandarine, orange, grapefruit, passion fruit, all juicy and zesty; additionally some gooseberry, biscuity malty background. Taste is crisp bitter and citrusy hoppy, passion fruit predominates the bunch of all the other flavours mentioned above. Very fine.

Bottle: Poured a dark orangey color ale with a nice large pure white foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of green grassy hops with some citrusy bitter notes. Taste is dominated by light grassy notes with some citrusy hops, some residual sugar and a bitter finale. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable but maybe a tad more bitter then I would have like.

Bottle from the LCBO. Crystal clear pale gold with a small white head. Strong tropical fruit nose with mango and papaya and some floral notes. Light sweet caramel base leading to medium bitter middle and finish with grapefruit emerging. Medium light oily mouth with average carbonation. Seems a little thin. Nice, but not as good as the Bellwoods Citra Monogamy I had this week.
