Double hopped with 100% USA sourced Citra hops. Green Devil is the big brother of our best selling Oakham Citra and very much the beer (a big, high ABV contemporary IPA) that our Brewing Director John Bryan envisaged brewing when he first discovered the Citra hop variety back in 2009.

From tap at the Local Pub, Athens. Hazy golden orange color with off white head. Hoppy and malty aroma, grassy, citrusy fruity, caramel. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Clear amber, small white froth. Passionfruit, pineapple and pine aroma. Bitter and sweetish, fruity flavour. Similar to the aroma but turning more resinous and perhaps even a little spicy. Juicy and full bodied with lasting bitter finish. Very nice.

On tap @Athens Craft Beer Expo (Zythognosia). Pours clear golden with small white head, medium body, good lacing. Aromas of citrus, fruits, floral. Some smokiness comes from the malts, caramel, cereal. The portion I had at the tasting wasn’t enough, so I need to taste it again. But my first impression was good.

Bottle at 100 piv. Aroma hoppy, garlicy. Clear golden colour. No big head to speak of. Taste is also hops centered, moderate to high bitterness, fruity, garlicy. Quite good one, simple, but good.

Bottle from 100 piv. Golden color with medium head. Nice citrus hoppy aroma. Taste, citrus hops, zest, pines, garlic. Medium long light hoppy bitter finish.

Cask @ Henglers Circus. Clear golden colour, off white head. Nose is citric, light malty, dish cloth, fruity. Flavour is citric, grassy, lots of hop bitterness, lemonade. Really well drinkable.

Bottled 500ml. -from E.Leclerc Ljubljana. Clear golden coloured, small white to off-white head, herbal hoppy nose. Moderate malty, herbal hoppy, caramel , some citrusy notes and rather bitter finish. Bad batch or simply unbalanced brew.

0.5 bottle from Pivoljub, Ljubljana, Slovenia. Clear pale golden with almost no head. Aroma is herbal hops. Body to light, and not very aromatic, I expected more. Bitter finish. Medium carbonation. Not my favorite.

Bottle [from trade with GlasgowTAD] @ home. Clear golden color, medium sized white to off-white head. Nice aroma of hops, lightly floral and lightly malts. Taste lightly malts, hops, lightly floral again, softly bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Quite nice.
