By definition, an India pale ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale—and we deliver in spades. One of the most well-respected and best-selling IPAs in the country, this golden beauty explodes with tropical, citrusy, piney hop flavors and aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it.

0.33l can. Hazy yellow to golden with medium creamy white head. Aroma: caramel, mango, tangerine, yeast, malt. Taste: tangerine, juicy, resins, malty background. Medium body, moderate carbonation. High bitterness with long fruity aftertaste. Oily texture. Clean and fruity brew.

330 ml can as Stone Berlin, served in tulip. Medium pale orange colour, slight mango smell. White head not long lasting. Blue cheese (Roquefort, Gorgonzola) and grapefruit aroma. Very bitter and salty, full-flavoured and spicy. Flat carbonated, medium body. Very bitter finish and long lasting aftertaste. Sophisticated IPA and quite interesting.

0.33l can. Hopy aroma, light malty notes, pine, light resin, light citruses. Almost clear golden color, white head. Hopy taste, pine, light floral notes, medium bitter. Medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation and dry bitter finish. Easy drinking, alcohol is hidden, well balanced. Very good.

Can from Pivný raj. Nice hoppy IPA. Very drinkable, nevertheless I miss bit of citruses. 08.2019 Edit: I was young and unexperienced, this now always in my fridge and much appreciated as nice bitter IPA

Pours hazy gold from the can and leaves a thick, porous head that slowly subsides. A sticky film of lacing clings to the bottle. A fruity aroma greets the nose, with apricot being dominant. Taste is bittersweet with a perfect mix of hops bitterness and an underlying malty sweetness with a distinct mango note. Finishes lightly bitter. The palate is equally impressing: smooth and refreshing on a medium body. The rich feel in the mouth combined with the aromatic bittersweetness make this almost difficult to swallow. I just want to keep swishing it around in my mouth, enjoying the flavors. Great stuff.

Bought as a single 12 oz. bottle. Drained into a tall, handled beer glass seeing a nice golden yellow body with active bubble action. The foam is thick, stays for awhile and laces well. The nose is cut grass and citrus. I taste a moderately hoppy opening, follows with biscuit, resin, a small sweetness. It has a good lingering bitterness. I sort of like Imperial IPAs but this is a strong everyday IPA. Does Stone ever get it wrong?

Can from Stone Berlin. Slightly cloudy orange/gold. Huge foamy head. Nice lacing. Aroma is pine, orange, lemons and grapefruit plus a little bit of tropical fruits. Beautiful. Taste is oranges, grapefruit and some malts in the background. Grassy, herbal and a little bit spicy. Good balance between malts and hops (although this is of course a very hop-driven beer by design). Highly carbonated. Dry and very bitter long lasting finish. A lovely and delicious IPA.
