By definition, an India pale ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale—and we deliver in spades. One of the most well-respected and best-selling IPAs in the country, this golden beauty explodes with tropical, citrusy, piney hop flavors and aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it.

Bottle at home from Brewdog online. A clear bright golden light orange coloured pour with a a big sticky off white head. Aroma is juicy orange, base grains, grassy piney hop, biscuity. Flavour is composed of base grains with a hint of caramel, pine and citrus hops are nicely layered, tangerine. Palate is semi sweet , medium bodied, light hop resin. Semi dry finish. Solid IPA.

opalescent golden colour medium sized creamy off-white head; aroma of (tropical) fruity, citrusy, floral, biscuity and resiny notes; bittersweet resiny taste with the same notes as the aroma and some overripe fruitiness; starts with sweetness which is followed by intensive and long lasting bitterness; a masterpiece!

On tap in shaker pint glass at JImmy’s Culpeppers. Aroma is strong floral and resinous hops. Taste is as aroma. Appearance is light brown with finger-width frothy white head with nice sparkle and huge sudsy lacing. Palate is medium bodied with fairly thick texture and very dry, crisp finish. Overall, a perfectly good IPA without much fault but it didn’t blow me away like I expected it to.

Riktgt gott trots allt.

Golden color, white head with good duration. Aroma has notes of citrus, herbal hints and resins hops. Flavor is bittery, very fruity with notes of grapefruit and pineapple. Good bitterness in the final with some dry mouthfeel on palate.

Had this on tap at Craft & Draft in Amsterdam. A great beer, light bodied and heavy on the tropical fruit - pineapple and mango - plus a bit of grapefruit, on top of a bitter and refreshing body. The alcohol is quite well hidden. --- Beer merged from original tick of IPA (India Pale Ale) on 13 Aug 2016 at 18:05 - Score: 8
