The famous Ringnes Pilsner was introduced to the market in 1886. This beer was among the first beers in Norway to be brewed with pure yeast. Ringnes Pilsner soon became popular and is today a best-selling beer in Norway.

Ringnes Pilsner is well balanced with a light hoppy and malty aroma. It has a beautiful golden colour with a full, yet dry mouthfeel. The taste has a light malt sweetness reminiscent of hay and straw, with a well-balanced, rich bitterness.

330 ml. Can from Oslo Airport. Piana nawet zadowalajaca jak na Pilsnera. Kolor zlocisty i czysty.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear pale golden color with medium frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of grainy malt, herbal hops and some notes of flowers. Taste starts with moderate sweet malt, follows by slight grainy and vegetably sourness, dry mouthfeel and mild bitter finish. Light body, thin texture and average carbonation in palate. Could be better...

Can somewhere from a little convenience store near the forest. Golden with small head. Sweet grains with some bread and light corn, light herbal touch. Some light citrus notes. Light sweet with nice bitter finish. Pretty decent actually, light sweetness and very pleasant crisp finish. Didn't expect this

Bottle from the Mini Pris in downtown Alesund. Poured a crystal clear light straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is light malt, light hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a light hoppy, malt palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. Far from being the best Pilsner in Norway!

Clear. Pale straw coloured. Bright white head that quickly diminishes to nothing. No lacing. Moderate aroma and taste of maize, cereals, sugar and some hop. Waterish taste and mouthfeel. A hint of bitterness in early aftertaste. Further aftertaste is of sugar water.
