Actually brewed in the Netherlands, by subsidiary of Bavaria. Question is if it is in Brabant, or in Utrecht De Meern, or by commision at Grolsch. Reduced to 4% ABV only.

4,0% ABV.

Fläschchen (fortunately only 250ml; obviously brewed in Saint-Omer): Clear, golden, small foamy layer, lazy carbonation, faint bitter-leafy traces in the mild malty nose; mild bitter flavour, watery and not soft; thin, but tart and bitter finish with traces of vegetables (corn?). Garçon, une deuxième...

0,5L Can at camping Kost-Ar-Moor, accompanying "Moules et Frîtes". Light golden with white head. Light sweet grain and light ground bitter, very watery and thin bodied. Some metallic notes. Tastes absolutely like nothing and is very watery. Great tablebeer! Average carbonation. Paid €0,50 for 0,5L at Carrefour. Cheapest lager in town. --- Beer merged from original tick of Koenigsbier / Kœnigsbier on 18 Dec 2017 at 12:19 - Score: 5. Original review text: 2.5
