Avantage aux malts lors de sa dégustation, elle laisse le soin aux houblons de donner une pointe d’amertume sans trop de longueur ni âcreté et ainsi assurer un rôle très désaltérant.

3/11/2010 - 25cl bottle @ home

Pours a clear bright yellow beer, nice carbon in glass. Creamy adhesive white head. Aroma is fruity, sweet, somewhat bready (probably due to aging, only one month away from BB date). MF ok carbon, watery texture, medium body. Taste is a little malty, somewhat hoppy. Not very much. Aftertaste holds just a little bit of hops, some citrus. Is gone pretty fast. Not a bad pilsener, not a good one either.

Draught at Le Lapin qui fumé, Verdun, France. Clear straw colour, small head. Sweet with light grass and sugar. Light bodied with notes of cardboard. No bitterness. Malt seem reasonably well extracted, but it’s too sweet to be a pilsener, or even be refreshing.

pours golden, white head. hoppy floral with light malt and honey blossom like hops. Taste; floral hops; pale malts, pilsener hops for a bandaid palate, bittersweet finish. Nothing spectacular.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear yellow with a lacing white head. Light cornish and mild yeasty note. Flavour is light bitterhops and mild grainy. Light malty and dry finish with a mild grainy note. Has a light Belgian yeast note to it which makes it not fall down to level of pale lagers but being a good brew.

Bottled. Pale yellowish golden colour with mediumsized white foamyish creamy head. Leaves nice lace. Aroma is hayish hops with some hints of grass and mild flowery notes. Flavour is quite much the same, with mainly grass being strong. Really mouthdrying brew.
