On the back of this bottle, it says \"produced in 25/01/11.\"
This was poured into a stange.
The appearance had a nice darkened purple to red color with a slim finger of a white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was a slim half finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than twenty seconds. Super light lacing stuck finely to the glass.
The smell had a sweet and tart cherry.
The taste was sweet and tart cherry finely cutting into a nice sweet to tart cherry aftertaste.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body. Damn, I just want to pound this down, but I’m trying to maintain a composure of picking out nuances, so hard when I want to pound this.
Overall, this is probably one of the most sessionable super tasty beers one could ever have. If this is what lambics are supposed to taste lik, well, call me a new fan!

Used to be simply Timmermans Kriek Lambic before they changed the name after the introduction of the extra sweet Timms version. Was often served in stone pitchers. Pinkish head over a deep ruby red beer, very sugary aroma and taste with red candy, cherry jam, vanilla but lemonade-like ascorbid acid too. A slight hint of tart, earthy lambic is noticeable far away in the background, but the sweetness dominates. Too sweet for my tooth, but like its Lindemans congener, not the worst example of the ’zoete kriek’ style.

Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark red-brown color with a medium sized foamy beige head that lingered a bit and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet black cherry, sour cherries and sugar. The flavor was sweet black cherries, sour cherries, sugar and a hint of bread. Long sweet and sour cherry finish. Medium body. Nice.

Bottle from local grocery store. Burgundy colour with a pale pink head that disappears rather fast. Aroma of cherries and wine. Tastes of sour cherries. Reminiscent of an alcoholpop but not as sweet/less artificial tasting. A bit watery.

25 cl. bottle from SB poured in to a Flute. Clear, deep red colour with a big, light pink head. Sweet, somewhat artificial aroma with cherries, almond, vanilla, only a slight acidity shows as citrus. Taste is heavy sweet. Light to medium body with a creamy texture and a lively carbonation. Short, sweet finish with cherries and almond. Too artificial, too sweet for a real Lambic.

If you have to drink a fruit beer, you should drink this one. It has a pleasent fresh sourness and a nice taste of cherry. Not nearly as good as real lambics of course.

Pours beautiful clear deep red with a big fritzy pink foam that settles fast. Aroma is sweetened raspberries, bubble gum and some minerals. Taste is slight tart raspberries up front, quickly becomes more sweetened and hints of bubble gum and candy appear. Ends dry with some lingering tartne from raspberries. High carbo, medium body. A bit atificial, but definitely different from other krieks.
