Clear red beer, good pale pink head. Big cherry marizipan nose. Palate is light and dry with fine carbonation. Taste follows the nose but the flavour is even more intense. Light dry finish. Tasty!

Bottle @ 3 Wise Monkeys, Todmorden. Clear red with a small head. Full cherry aroma although not as stated in taste but remains sweet with a decent texture.

Bottle at home, from Beermerchants, as Kriek Lambicus @4%, 04/04/14. Clear cherry red with a moderate crimson covering that retains well. Nose is Bakewell tart icing, cherry, marzipan, sweet, sugary. Taste comprises cherry drops, not as sweet as the nose, cherry sherbet. Light to medium body, fine carbonation, sweet cherry notes in the close. Sweet sugary fruit juice, got less interested in this the more I supped.

Bottle. Pours a deep red with no head. Sour cherry nose. Cherry juice more or less. This tastes good, but is not beer like in any way. Very sweet. A little sour on the finish. Not too bad.

Bottle poured into a tulip glass. Aroma and appearance are both fine, nothing immediately wrong, but its the flavor and more to the point, the aftertaste on this that are really tough on the palate. There are better ones out there for sure.

Pours clear dark red color with pink head. Aromas of cherries. Tart cherry flavor that’s pretty sweet and artificial tasting. Medium body with lively carbonation. Meh.

Klar rød farge med tynt rosa skum. Aroma av hermetiserte kirsbær. Smaken følger opp aromaen. i tillegg ganske syrlig. Har godt med kullsyre og er lettdrikkelig.

Clear reddish brown colour, dissipating white head. Aroma of cherries, mascarpino cherry, apple juice. Sweet flavour, light tart, some fruity notes. Light tart, quite sweet cherry finish, lingering tart berry skins. Too sweet for me I’m affraid, and not too fond of the fruit mix.

rood met minimaal witte kraag aroma van kersen, bessen en zuurtje smaken: redelijk zoet, licht bitter, licht zuur, stevig gefruit (kersen, vlierbes) medium body, glad, laag co2, goede kriek, lekker fruitig, ietwat aan de lichte kant

På A la Becasse i Brussel, den tredje av fire på smaksbrettet: ned 0,5% fra Lambicus Blanche, og smaken er naturligvis helt annerledes pga kirksebærene som er brukt. Forfriskende og godt, men det er like mye atmosfæren på La Becasse som gjør at dette blir en minneverdig opplevelse.
