The bottle looks old and simple, the beer in the glass is okay. Tastes very sweet and very fruity. Modest dry in the finish. Still very sweet. Tastes too much like cherry-juice.

draft at La Becasse in Brussels - Pours ruby red with a thin, lingering head that laces nicely. The aroma is strong cherries. The taste is very sugary and full of cherries. Is it cherry kool aid? Well, it’s better than that, but it’s very sweet. It’s light bodied and has fine carbonation. Tone back the sugar!

25cl bottle. head-to-head tasting with timmermans tradition retro kriek lambic. clear red, thick pink head. sweet marcipan cherry flavor that remind me of apricot too. VERY nice and sweet. but then i love apricot. flavor has a sharp tinge from cherries, some fruity sweetness, and faint alc. not as sweet as aroma, and no apricot. still, very good tasting with a nice sour/acid note to balance the sweet cherries.

Bottle from Dranken Geers. Ruby, clear, thin pink head. I fear this is going to be sweet. Sweet cherry jam aroma like the filling in a Bakewell Tart. Yep, it’s a sweet cherry drink with some alcohol. Not horrible, but not great either.; Yep, fine, get’s my standard score for a fruit lambic that is too sweet. If I want a fruit flavoured alcohol drink at least I know where to go.
