Bottle @ Beiaard Marie Heinekenplein, 4.5% ABV. Red colour, pinkish head. Aroma of cherries, a bit tart. Flavour is sweet, cherry, a bit sour, quite refreshing.

Bottle, 4%. Fat cherry aroma, sweet and acidic, some bubblegum. Beautiful deep red colour, small pink head. The flavour has some sweet cherry, but not sickening. More than balanced by the acidity.

Bottle at the Travelers Cafe in Brugge. Sharp cherry aroma. Ruby color with a medium pinkish head. Lacing. Fresh cherry; but a cooking/canning cherry rather than sweet cherry. Touches of sour at the back edges of the tongue. A little cherry pit in the finish:

Medium pink head. Deep ruby red body. Sweet yoghurty cherry aroma with perfumy candy notes. Dry-sweet yoghurty cherry taste with notes of wood and candy. A little artificial, and also a little watery. Sharpish mouthfeel. Long, lingering cherry yoghurt taste. (0.25l bottle, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

Bottle at home ... Bright clear crisp red ... sweet syrupys cherry nose ... sweet but not too sweet ... fruit lots of cherry ... quite juice like... fairly 1 Dimentional ... but pleasent enough. Keg at salty 4abv... Deep thin red.. Thin white lacing.. Soft rich sweet cherry... Soft Tart cherry juice.. Light bitter almonds... Yeah little one dimensional 3.2

Can. Cherry cough syrup aroma. Ruby red with small head. Slightly dry tart red cherry flavor. Not too sweet but not much sour lambic flavor either.

25 cL bottle. Pours hazy red with a dense pink head. Quite candy sweet berry aroma. Flavour is cherry vanilla artificial sweet towards a slight citric note. Ends with cherry dry note.

[Courtezy of yespr, session @ yespr] Clear red with tiny head. Aroma is very sweet with strong artificial cherry notes and marzipan. Flavor is overwhelming sweet with artificial cherry and marzipan notes. Lacks the lovely tartness and natural cherry flavor that most oude krieks have.
