0.33L bottle. Clear red with some darkish taints, yeast and cherry aromas. The yeasty character becomes stronger and unpleasant in the flavour. The cherry flavour seems artificial (like a cherry bubblegum) and quite sour as though the cherries were unripe. All of this is acompanies by an unappealing bitterness. The aftertaste is quite sour and leaves anunpleasant sensation. Not good.

Bottle: Reddish-amber coloured, quite stable pinkish head; delicate sourish-fruity, a bit metallic nose; moderate sweet-sour flavour, light bodied; a tinge of almonds and cherries in the mild sweet-sour finish. No classic stuff, but a good summer drink........

Bottle. Labeled as "Timmermans Tradition Kriek Lambic". Deep red-colored with a small pink head. Aroma of cherry. Sweet flavor of cherry and a bit of marzipan. Some sourness. Feels a bit artificially-flavored. Light to medium-bodied. 6/4/5/3/10=2.8

Aroma of cran-raspberry juice blend. Red in color. Very carbonated. Artificial sweetness, as well as cherry and light yeast flavors. Despite the sweetness and sugar, this isn’t too bad at all, for what it is.

A burgundy red kriek with a pinkish white head collapsing. Sour cherries in aroma, light sweetness, pleasant. In mouth, a rather simple refreshing little kriek, with cherry drop candy, thin and quaffable. 330 mL can from Delhaize, Antwerp, Dec. 2006.
