This is the result of our cooperation with the traditional Tokaj wine producer Tokaj Macik Winery. This semi-dark IPA of golden color is unfiltered, so the yeast turbidity is natural. The body of beer is comprised of barley, wheat, and caramel malt. The aromas are dominated by tones of young wine and grapefruit, which emphasizes its fruity character. The Tokaj civets that are reflected in the taste make it exceptional. It has very mild bitterness and delivers a unique experience.

Thanks Ogivlado! Shared with him and kajser. Misty golden body with a lasting small head. Strange sulphury aroma, white wine concentrate, hm. Slightly ashy. Actually... yeah... like white wine, but not the kind I like. Taste... fruity, passable, sweetish grapes, relatively watery, not that bitter. Wouldn’t call this an IPA. Somewhat creamy. Actually tasty in a way, executed OK technically, but just a recipe that needs heavy tweaking.

Bottle at home thanks to Secret Santa. Hazy golden with no real head just some white bubbles. Nice tropical fruits with mango and pineapple, cake, green onions, fresh cut French herbs, grassy. So far so good except for the onions, but there’s a bit of a cardboard/metallic finish here. Light sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied with a bit creamy feel and low carbonation.

Bottle. Pours clear orange, small off white head, some lacing. Aroma is grainy, a bit of grape, hay. Flavor is light sweet, medium bitter, grain grass, hay, very lager like more boring than bad.

Pours a clear darker golden color, topped with a medium sized but nicely lasting white head. Very mild aroma, nothing that would stand out - malty with some gentle grassy hops. Taste starts mild with plain malty feel, followed by an ok mild bitterness and mildly sharp herbal finish with some soury feel. Doesn’t feel like an IPA. Not a bad one, but expected more from it.

Bottle 330ml. @ home on the terrace. [ As Kaltenecker Tokaj IPA 13° ].[ Courtesy of my Local Swap 2015-1 MisoW ]. ABV: 5.5%. Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, pale malt, mesk notes, moderate hoppy, light grass. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, citrus, hop bitter, dry, grass, light sharp. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150422]

0.33l bottle. Slightly hazy light amber body, thin white head. The aroma is quite plain. It’s mostly grainy with some grassy hops and a slight malty sweetness. Taste of grains, orange peel and some piny and floral hops. Medium body, easily drinkable. I’m not amazed by this one, but not bad either.

Bottle from trade with Cuso, many thanks! Minimal trübes Bier mit wenig weißem Schaum. Geruch sehr malzig, leicht hopfig, grasig. Geschmack kräftig malzig, leicht herb, fruchtig süß.

slightly cloudy darker golden colour, medium sized off white head, which collapses quickly;aroma of grassy hops, some bread and minimal sweet Tokaji notes; bittersweet taste with spicy notes; drinkable
