This is the result of our cooperation with the traditional Tokaj wine producer Tokaj Macik Winery. This semi-dark IPA of golden color is unfiltered, so the yeast turbidity is natural. The body of beer is comprised of barley, wheat, and caramel malt. The aromas are dominated by tones of young wine and grapefruit, which emphasizes its fruity character. The Tokaj civets that are reflected in the taste make it exceptional. It has very mild bitterness and delivers a unique experience.

Malt: Pilsner Malz, Weizenbraumalz, Caramünch
Hops: Aurora, Mosaic
Others: Added Tokaj Cibebas

Kupena flasa v sokolovni. Vona ked clovek vie co hladat tak tam aj to najde. Pri ochutnani zaplavi usta laadka horkost ktora sa drzi aj dlho po ochutnani. Zaujimave, no toho tokaja by som tam cakal viac.

0,33l bottle. Clear golden with low white head. Aroma: grass, wet mop, malt. Taste: grass, wet straw, dull, probably oxidized hop. Medium body, moderate cardbonation. Medium to high bitterness, leaving unpleasant aftertaste. Not good, missing hoppy fruitiness.

F: thin, white, poor retention. C: deep gold, light hazy. A: malt, hint of citrus, basement, hint of vinous, woody, orange. T: malt, earthy bitterness, woody, grapefruit, light barnyard, vinous not very noticeable, to understand the smell and taste this beer you should know something about how and from what is tokay vine made: the grapes are left on the vine long enough to develop the "noble rot" (Botrytis cinerea) mold, that’s why is the smell and taste “unusual”, for me is this very interesting brew and quite good balanced and make it very unique beer, may quite different from common APA, BB: 19/10/2017, 0,33l bottle as a gift from Tomas from Slovakia.

Bottle, 330 from Kézműves Csemege, shared with JFK10000. Pours deep golden to orange, white head. Hoppy hints in aroma, sweet, fruity, citrus, some bitterness in finish. Medium bodied. Sweetness didn’t work out for me, not sure if the sweetness comes from wine but I don’t think sweet wines and IPA are a good combo.

0.33l bottle. Citrus aroma with mandarines tones. Amber colour with low white head. Taste of fermented citrus fruits. Medium body, oily texture, medium carbonation, finish with taste of fermented fruits. This combination of IPA and TOKAJ wine is not very pleasant.

Bottled 330ml. -from 100 piv Bratislava. Golden coloured, small white head, dusty nose with whiff of grapes; slightly sulphury also. Sweetish malty, acidic fruity, notes of grapes and citrus with bitterish sweet finish. Just another IPA in the sea.

Golden-orange colored, small white head, not very lasting. Aroma is light malt and some fruits, skunky, sulphur, grassy, weird. Taste is medium- sweet malt, caramalt, some fruits, citrus and grassy, medium+ bitterness, dry finish, lasting aftertaste. Medium bodied, average+ carbonation. Shame about the aroma... Shared with Ogi and Marko, thanks Ogi.
