0,5 bottle. Traditional buckle bottle and label. Nice rusty red color, brownish-yellowish large head, looks good. Caramel, raisin, roasted aroma, with a little fruitiness. A tasty, weaker lager beer-like beer. Raisin, sweetish sip, moderately carbonated. Dried fruit, honey, interesting piece. Interesting wheat varieties were used - a previously tasted einkorn wheat also had a special taste. Good body and really very full-flavored, delicious and special beer. I imagine how strong beers with such a taste could have given people a few hundred years ago :)

Bottle. Color: Hazy orange-brown, dense yellowish head. Aroma: Grainy, malty, subtle dark / roasted malt. Taste: Malty, subtle grain, chocolate, dark and lightly roasted malt, bread and clove. Smooth mouthfeel. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Very lightly soapy mouthfeel. Moderate sweet and light bitterness. Somehow I expected this to be more golden, I was pleasantly surprised by this historical beer. Nice one.

0.5 l bottle from 'EDEKA Knudtsen', best before March 2021. Hazy, brownish amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently yeasty-spicy aroma of overripe banana, nuts, caramel, bread and some clove. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly yeasty-spicy taste of overripe banana, caramel, nuts, clove and some bread, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy, slightly bready and a little chalky finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very pleasant beer, really well-balanced and smooth. Reminds me of a Dunkelweizen, but it's a little less yeasty and a bit more bready.

# 1278; 1/2019. Plné, medové, karamelové pivo s fůrou sušeného ovoce a lehce kovovou příchutí.
