Bottle. It’s an unlcear one, dark amber in color and topped by a small, dense, light beige head. Liglty spiced aroma with caramel, dried fruits and a touch of something rye-like. Anise and some dark chocolate hints too. Lightly acidic on the palate, with a pleasant caramel and spiced flavor, as well as dried fruits and some anise notes. Salt hints in the finish. Medium to full body and soft carbonation. Well, certainly an interesting and pleasant beer. 121102

Pours slightly hazy deep golden, copper with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, spelt, caramel, floral hops and a hint of sourness. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a sweet and kind of salty finish Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Catch up rating from notes, 2012: .5l flip top bottle from Wasana's. This one is a bit darker and heftier than the other emmer beer from this brewery that I rated, a darker roast on the malts. Aroma is venturing into dunkel territory, with a hint of sweetness.More dark, sweet malts in the taste, coupled with a nice thick, creamy mouthfeel. Much better than the other.
